COLUMBUS, Ohio — Something historic has made its way to Columbus’ COSI, an exhibit fit for a king.
Tutankhamun — His Tomb and His Treasures offers a once-in-a-lifetime insight into the archaeology of ancient Egypt.
The exhibition allows visitors to voyage and experience the burial chambers and treasures of the pharaoh exactly as they were discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter. More than 1,000 scientific replicas are on display, including the King's throne, state car, and notable mask.
“You can’t beat this,” said COSI President and CEO Dr. Frederic Bertley.“ Whatever your age is from womb to tomb you’re going to love this exhibition.”
Tutankhamun — His Tomb and His Treasures will remain at COSI through Labor Day.
