CLEVELAND — Cleveland police said one of its on-duty officers was shot in the 2800 block of Cedar Avenue Tuesday afternoon. 

Authorities said the officer is conscious and in stable condition. 

The name of the officer hasn't been released. Cleveland police said additional information will be released as it becomes available. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
