CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is facing a warrant for aggravated menacing, the Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting.
Mixon is accused of pointing a gun at a woman on Jan. 21, according to an affidavit filed Thursday in Hamilton County Municipal Court.
He reportedly also told the woman, "You should be popped in the face and I should shoot you."
"The club is aware misdemeanor charges have been raised against Joe Mixon," a statement from the Bengals to the Enquirer reads. "The club is investigating the situation and will not comment further at this time."
Mixon, a second-round draft pick by the Bengals in 2017, just wrapped up his sixth season with the team.
