During the Browns’ 27-14 win vs. the Houston Texans, Peoples-Jones recorded a 76-yard punt-return touchdown to give Cleveland the lead in the second quarter. It marked the second punt-return touchdown in the NFL this season and was the first by a Browns player since 2015.

In the NFC, San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Nick Bosa, a former Ohio State Buckeyes player, won the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his play during Week 13.

He had the most sacks by an NFC player in Week 13 and his forced fumble in the fourth quarter was returned for a touchdown to put the 49ers up by 16 points with less than two minutes remaining.

Bosa previously won the award twice in 2019. He and safety Malcolm Jenkins are the only former Buckeyes to win the award three times.

Perine finished with 21 carries for 106 yards and six receptions for 49 yards in the win.

Bengals running back Joe Mixon won the award in Week 9 and Burrow won the FedEx Air Player of Week in Weeks 6, 7 and 11.

The award is decided by fan vote.
