CINCINNATI — Frontier Airlines is launching a new nonstop seasonal service from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to Phoenix Sky Harbor this fall.
The service is set to launch in November.
Adding the new service allows Frontier to serve 11 destinations from CVG.
“We’re thrilled to offer this nonstop service from Cincinnati to one of the most popular destinations in the southwestern United States,” said Daniel Shurz, the vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines, in a news release. “Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right’ will make it convenient and affordable to trade the Midwest weather for some sunshine this winter.”
According to a news release, Frontier Airlines will offer the service four times a week at an introductory fare of $99.
“Frontier relaunching nonstop service to Phoenix is very exciting as it provides a great low-cost option for local travelers,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG. “Phoenix is a wonderful place to visit and has become one of the top 20 destinations from CVG in the winter months to travel.”
To acquire the introductory far tickets must be purchased before midnight on Sept. 13, 2022. The fares will be valid from Nov. 5, 2022, through Feb 2, 2023, and a round trip purchase is not required.
The blackout dates for the far include:
- Nov. 19-23, 25-28, 2022
- Dec. 16-18, 22-24, 2022
- Dec. 26, 2022 – Jan. 3, 2023
- Jan. 6-8, Jan. 17-18, 2023
