COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Public Service Department has released the streets closed off for July 4 weekend.

Downtown Columbus streets have already closed and have on-street parking restrictions in preparation of the holiday. 

The streets include:

  • Washington Boulevard from Broad Street to Main Street
  • Civic Center Drive from Broad Street to Main Street closed Wednesday at 9 a.m. and will remain closed through Saturday
  • Spring Street from Neil Avenue to Marconi Boulevard will close 9 a.m. Thursday and remain closed until 6 a.m. Saturday
  • Long Street from Hocking Street to Marconi Boulevard will close 9 a.m. Thursday and remain closed until 6 a.m. Saturday
  • Marconi Boulevard from Long Street to Broad Street will close 5 p.m. Thursday and remain closed until 6 a.m. Saturday

Spring Street will have one lane open Thursday and Friday evenings for rush hour, leaving downtown from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

Long Street will have one lane open Thursday and Friday mornings for rush hour, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Multiple streets will be closed Friday afternoon for the Red, White & Boom parade to form with more street closures that will last from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Parking restrictions will be shared via the ParkColumbus Mobile Payment app from 6 a.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.

All streets bound by Spring Street, 3rd Street, Mound Street and McDowell Street will be closed for fireworks from 5:30 p.m. Friday through midnight.
