COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus Public Health is hosting a give away event Wednesday, offering COVID tests, fentanyl test strips and Narcan.

COVID-19 tests are available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at three locations until supplies run out. The limit is two COVID-19 tests per person/eight tests per vehicle.

Columbus Health will offer fentanyl test strips and Narcan while supplies last.

The three locations are:

  • Columbus Public Health - front loop (240 Parsons Ave.)
  • Columbus Fire Station #10 (1096 W. Broad St.)
  • Columbus Fire Station #18 (1630 Cleveland Ave.)

Columbus Health encourages residents to test for COVID-19 before gathering during the holiday weekend.

“COVID-19 has not gone away and we must use every tool we have before we gather for summer holidays and activities,” said Health Commissioner Dr. Mysheika Roberts. “The best protection is getting vaccinated and boosted, but testing before you gather adds another layer that protects you and the entire community.”
