CLEVELAND — U.S News & World Report named Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital a national leader, ranking the hospital No. 2 in 2021.

The hospital earned national recognition in nine specialities including:

  • Neurology and neurosurgery (40)
  • Pulmonology and lung surgery (30)
  • Urology (24)

The report recognized the hospital in the top 10 across the country for its cardiology and heart surgery and neonatology specialities. Two other specialities—cancer and gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery—ranked in the top 20.

Cleveand Clinic Children's has been ranked among the nation's top 50 pediatric hospitals for 14 years. The facility has been recognized as the No. 7 pediatric hospital in the Midwest and No. 3 in Ohio. 

In northeast Ohio, Cleveland Clinic Children’s ranked the best in five of the specialties: cancer, cardiology and heart surgery, gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery, nephrology and urology.
