EATON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A National Weather Service storm survey out of Cleveland confirmed an EF-0 tornado occurred Monday in Eaton Township in eastern Lorain County.
The storm survey discovered damage to several industrial buildings and vehicles off Eaton Commerce Way, south of Ohio State Route 82.
NWS announced damage was consistent with an EF-0 tornado with a maximum wind gust to 80 mph. EF-0 tornadoes have minimum wind speeds of 65 mph and maximum speeds of 85 mph.
The Lorain County Sheriff's Office confirmed damage to two buildings on Eaton Commerce Parkway, with no injuries reported. One of the damaged buildings belongs to a trucking company.

The tornado reportedly was on the ground for less than one minute and for less than one-tenth of a mile.
Storms that have moved across northern Ohio have a history of producing wind gusts of more than 60 mph. When the storm moved through Shelby County, wind gusts were recorded as fast as 64 mph.
Initial reports included large trees in Grafton Township were down in roadways.
