LORAIN, Ohio — President Joe Biden will return to northeast Ohio for a second time as president to tout a $1 trillion infrastructure bill that he signed into law in November.

The White House announced Saturday that Biden will travel to Cleveland and Lorain on Thursday.

Biden will “discuss how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law delivers for the American people by rebuilding roads and bridges, upgrading water systems, cleaning up the environment, and creating good-paying, union jobs,” said the White House in its announcement.

No other details were given.

In May 2021, Biden visited Cleveland’s Cuyahoga Community College touting his infrastructure plan. After months of wrangling and a number of concessions to Republicans and moderate Democrats, he navigated the legislation through Congress. The bill was approved by the Senate by a 69-30 margin, and later approved by the House by a 228-206 ledger.
