CLEVELAND — The United States Postal Service is asking for customers help to make conditions as safe as possible for mail carriers on their routes.
Despite the rain and snow, mail carriers across the state are braving the temps to get your mail to you.
"If they would kindly clear a paths for mail carriers. So that includes porches, walkways up to their mailbox. Sometimes the plows will plow snow on the (sidewalk), so if that's blocked and the mail carrier can't reach that box, they're not going to be able to deliver," said Naddia Dhalai, the strategic communications specialist for USPS.
USPS said customers should be patient. They say if mail carriers can't safely make a delivery, they will try again as soon as they can.
