CINCINNATI — Ohio's Division II Football Champs, the Winton Woods Warriors, are now being honored at home.
On Thursday, Hamilton County Commissioner Alicia Reece announced that Dec. 16 is now 2021 Winton Woods Warriors High School Football Team State Champions Day.
On Dec. 2, the Warriors won 20-10 against the Archbishop Hoban Knights in the Division II state championship game. The proclamation highlights the 105 players and their head coach and honors them for taking home the second state title in the school's history.
As a whole, the board of commissioners say they’re very proud of the team and their accomplishments.
