COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State freshman quarterback C.J. Stroud and wide receiver Garrett Wilson earned Big Ten honors after OSU rolled over Purdue 59-31 on Saturday.

Stroud was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the sixth time this season and Wilson was named the Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Wilson, who was unavailable for previous week's game against Nebraska, returned on Saturday had 10 catches for 126 yards and four touchdowns — three receiving and one 51-yard rushing.

Wilson, of Austin, Texas, ranks fourth in the Big Ten in receiving yards per game (90.3), second in touchdown receptions (nine) and fourth in receptions (53), according to a press release from Ohio State.

Stroud threw for 361 yards and matched his career high with five touchdown passes, according to Ohio State.

He ranks in the top five nationally in quarterback rating, touchdown passes and yards per attempt, officials said.

No. 5 Ohio State will host No. 7 Michigan State on Saturday.
