COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Central Ohio Transit Authority will waive transit fares for veterans and active military members on Veteran's Day, which is Thursday, Nov. 11.

This includes COTA’s fixed-route buses, the COTA Mainstream ADA service and COTA//Plus in Grove City, Westerville and south Columbus.

For veterans and military members who use the COTA//Plus app, they can use the promo code COTAVETS.

To receive the free ride, individuals can provide a military-issued identification to the transit operator when boarding, wear a veterans hat or article of clothing or verbally identify as a veteran or member of the military.
