CINCINNATI — For the fifth time, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is nominated as the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week.

Chase won the award decided by fan vote for Weeks 1, 5 and 6. He also was nominated for the award in Week 3.

In Week 7, Chase led the Bengals with 201 yards, a career high, and one touchdown on eight receptions.

His highlight play of the game came on an 82-yard touchdown reception with 5:48 remaining in the third quarter to give Cincinnati its first double-digit lead of the game on its way to a 41-17 win versus the Baltimore Ravens.

Chase’s five nominations ties the five nominations for Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris who has yet to win the award.

Samuel Jr. became the first multi-time winner in 2021 winning both times nominated, and New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson won his sole nomination in Week 4.
