OHIO — Zoombezi Bay plans to transform this fall for Halloween.
The waterpark announced on its Facebook Tuesday that it will turn into ZOMBIEzi Bay from Sept. 17 to Oct. 31.
Officials haven't released much information about what all will be involved. They plan to drop details every Tuesday until August, dubbed the #TerrorTuesday series.
"The waves of Zoombezi Bay will be replaced by waves of terror at ZOMBIEzi Bay! The undead will rule the night at Central Ohio’s newest and largest Halloween event," Zoombezi Bay wrote in the post.
ZOMBIEzi Bay will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will also have bonus days on some Thursdays: Oct. 14, 21 and 28.
The Halloween-themed park will be open 6 p.m. through midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 6 p.m. through 10 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays.
Tickets will cost $28.99 on all September dates, as well as Thursdays and Sundays in October. Prices will increase to $32.99 on Fridays and Saturdays in October. Parking will cost $10.
Gold Members and 2021 Zoombezi Season Pass Holders will get free parking and $10 off admission.
Other popular Halloween attractions in the state, such as the Ohio State Reformatory, haven't announced plans or released themes yet for this year. Many haunted houses had to remain closed in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
