CLEVELAND — Three major zoos in Ohio have announced free admission for dads on Sunday in celebration of Father’s Day. 

Both the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and the Akron Zoo will be open for free for fathers from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Columbus Zoo is offering free addmission for dads who are accompanied by at least one of their children on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

The Akron Zoo recommends families reserve tickets before arriving at the zoo to skip the line. Admission at the Akron Zoo for the rest of the family is $13 for adults, $11 for seniors age 62 and over and $10 for youth ages 2-14. Zoo admission is free for children under age 2.

Parking at the Akron Zoo is $3.

Admission for the rest of the family at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is $16.95 for adults, $14.95 for seniors age 62 and over, and $12.95 for children ages 2-12. Children under age 2 are free. 

Unable to make it to the zoo Sunday? Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township residents are able to visit the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for free on non-holiday Mondays with proof of residency.

Columbus Zoo admission is $21.99 for adults, $16.99 for seniors age 60 and over and children ages 3-9, and free for children ages 0-2. Franklin County residents are able to get discounted admission. Parking is $10.
