OHIO — Some of the most decorated gymnasts will be performing in two Ohio cities this fall for the "Gold Over America" tour, which aims to inspire the next generation of Olympians.

Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast of all time with 30 Olympic and Worlds medals combined, will be headlining the tour. Biles made history last weekend after becoming the first woman to land the Yurchenko double pike in a gymnastics competition.

Other athletes joining her will be Laurie Hernandez, the 2016 Gold and Silver medalist; All-American, NCAA National Champion Katelyn Ohashi; Morgan Hurd, the winner of three gold medals in 2019 and 2020 at the Tokyo World Cup; 2018 NCAA National Champion from UCLA Peng-Peng Leel; Danusia Francis, the Jamaican qualifier for the 2021 Tokyo games; and eight-time U.S. National team member Jordan Chiles.

More gymnasts will be announcing in the next few months.

"The show emerges from their personal values of empowerment, friendship, positive body image, mental health awareness and self-confidence," tour officials said.

Athletes will perform some of their most famous routine, while also discussing career highlights and other details about their journeys.

The 35-city tour kicks off in Tucson, Sept. 21 with a stop in Columbus on Oct. 19 and Cleveland on Oct. 20. Tickets will go on sale Friday, June 11.
