COLUMBUS, Ohio — The 41st Nationwide Children's Hospital half and full marathon is set for the fall, organizers announced Tuesday.

The event was canceled last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and organizers said if it becomes an issue again this year, they will issue full refunds. 

"We have worked for months with local and state leaders and health officials on our return to an in-person event this fall, and with continued progress occurring in the battle against COVID-19, we are getting ready for you to sign up and begin training for 26.2 or 13.1 miles," Nationwide Children's wrote on their website.

Registration begins June 1, and the event will take place Oct. 17. Prices for June and July are $115 for the full marathon and $95 for the half marathon.

Organizers also announced The Columbus Marathon and Nationwide renewed their partnership for the annual running and walking event through 2024. Nationwide Children’s Hospital will remain the title beneficiary of the event for the next five years.
