DAYTON, Ohio — Day Air Ballpark and Canal Park will be operating at full capacity starting next month.

The Dayton Dragons announced Monday that Day Air Ballpark will operate at full capacity starting June 8. The Akron RubberDucks will open Canal Park to full capacity starting June 2, the team announced Tuesday.

The stadiums are also changing several of its policies to align with recent recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. People who have been fully vaccinated won't need to wear a mask, and stadium officials encourage those who haven't been vaccinated to wear a mask. 

Sanitization practices will still be in place, such as hand sanitzier stations located throughout the ballparks.

Single-game tickets can now be purchased through the Dragons' website or the Dragons box office at the main entry gates. The Dragons are scheduled to play 54 more home games during the regular season. 

Tickets for remaining RubberDucks games go on sale June 2.

Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds, and Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians, are returning to full capacity starting June 2, the same day Ohio is lifting most health orders. The minor league team Toledo Mud Hens said it plans to open its stadium to full capacity next month as well.
