CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will host a charity 5K and 1-mile walk to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Ohio on June 26.

Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield announced this week that he will be the official ambassador for the race. Those who register by May 31 have an opportunity to win an autographed jersey.

The 5K begins at 7:30 a.m. with a 1-mile walk following at 9 a.m. The entry fee for the 5K is $25 and $20 for the 1-mile walk.

Those who participate in the in-person event receive free admission that day to the zoo and a T-shirt.

There is also a virtual race, which has an entry fee of $20.
