Brett Norris is the father of redshirt sophomore and point guard Braden Norris. The team played in the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.

“It was surreal, amazing, emotional and I’m just talking about the first round,” Norris said.

He’s been coaching basketball for 25 years, spending the last seven at Hilliard Bradley High School where Braden graduated.

"To coach your own son, it was such a unique experience, so rewarding.”

Norris said he and his family will make the drive to Indianapolis to watch Braden and the Ramblers take on No. 12 seed Oregon State.

“I think we are going to be well prepared,” Norris said. “I think we’re going to be hard to score against. I think that the style that Loyola plays is very suited for tournament basketball.”

Loyola-Chicago knocked out No. 1 seed Illinois in the second round of the tournament.
