OHIO — Larry Householder is no longer Ohio's House Speaker, after Ohio House Republicans voted 90-0 Thursday to remove him from his position.
Earlier Thursday morning, Householder was indicted by a federal grand jury, along with four associates.
Househlder and those four other individuals were arrested on July 21 in a $60 million federal bribery case involving a taxpayer-funded bailout of Ohio's two nuclear power plants.
Last week, a long list of public officials, including Gov. Mike DeWine, called for Householder to resign after the speaker was arrested, but Householder said he was not going anywhere.
