CLEVELAND, Ohio– At 11:00 AM Friday, Lindey's Lake House in the Flats opened their patio, "Well, this is a very large building, a large property. We have everything spaced out to the guidelines. I think we're gonna be not as busy, but pretty close. I think people, you know, it's still a destination spot in Cleveland," Said managing partner, Patrick Granzier.
Once they got the go-ahead from Governor DeWine, they sanitized the whole restaurant and are taking every precaution they can as they welcome customers to dine-in, "we just want everyone to feel safe when they, you know, come to our restaurant and have fun and have a great dining experience."
Yours Truly in Chagrin Falls brought tables and chairs out on to the rooftop patio, but then the rain came. "It went good. A very soft opening, reopening. People, I think, are still a little cautious. But it's gone very well today until the rains hit," Said Co-Owner, Art Shibley.
Though the weather wasn't on their side today— the people who did show up this morning gives restaurant owners hope, "I'm pretty confident that people still want to get out that they'll have a little more faith in not catching anything and enjoy their food," Said Shibley, They'll try again tomorrow.
