“We are doing probably our most popular pasta. It is Lobster Gnocchi,” says Mike Odum, one of the Chefs at Lago.
It’s got ricotta gnocchi, sweet corn, cherry tomatoes, a truffle cream sauce and a quarter pound of lobster.
“This is a very larger portion... they are not lying.”
“Okay... wow.. that is fantastic. Absolutely fantastic”
“I think that one of the things that makes us so unique is that we have the ability to go from doing like a corporate style lunch to a fine dining dinner and then bringing it all full circle with a nightclub kind of scene but in a classy way you know, giving you martinis and cocktails, great music and a great vibe and there’s not really many other places in downtown Cleveland that do that and we execute it really well,” says Aubrey Czarzasty, one of the owners at Lago.
Lago East Bank just won best downtown hotspot by Cleveland magazine, but the restaurant itself is just the tip of the iceberg.
They do 50 plus weddings a year, a ton of corporate events all day every day, as well as social parties and cocktail parties.
So what should a first-timer consider ordering?
Lago East Bank suggests either the lobster gnocchi or the veal tortelloni. Those are memorable dishes that will always bring you back, and you can try something else.”
