When you arrive at the Ohio Bird Sanctuary, it won't be long before you're greeted.
The nature preserve is home to a variety of birds including Blue Jays, Bald Eagles and Turkey Vultures.
The sanctuary was built in 1988 and is located in Mansfield, Ohio. Its mission is to nurse sick birds to good health.
If the bird is unable to survive in the wild, it will live out its days at the sanctuary.
The Ohio Bird Sanctuary also works to educated others and often host field trips.
The sanctuary is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission costs $1 for children and $3 for adults.
