There is a window for severe weather on Thursday from the mid-afternoon through the evening.

Apocalyptic images from the derailment in the small town on the Ohio-Pennsylvania border inspired calls for railroad safety reforms and exposed lasting fears for the community. Three days after a toxic mix of chemicals caught fire in the crash, officials unleashed a massive plume of black smoke over East Palestine when they blew open five tank cars of vinyl chloride and burned the chemicals because they feared an explosion.

3. Ohio State students react to antisemitism complaint against the university

Ginsberg is a senior accounting student at OSU who said she’s been the victim of antisemitic incidents by fellow students. 

“We just feel that there's a culture of intolerance at this school for Jewish students who don't fit into a box that has been created for us,” Ginsberg said 

She said she's reached out to the administration for help, but she believes it’s hard for them to understand.
