1. Ohio Senate path to the GOP primary: Trump-backed Bernie Moreno touts America First populism

“I’ve been honest where I stood with President Trump back in 2015 and 2016,” he said Feb. 19 at an Ohio Republican Senate candidate forum hosted by Spectrum News. “I think like a lot of Republicans here, there were some people who didn’t support President Trump. I’m very happy I was wrong. He was one of the greatest—the greatest president of my lifetime.”

That change of heart helped him earn the coveted endorsement of former President Donald Trump, instantly boosting Moreno’s campaign from the lowest-polling to the frontrunner of the Ohio Senate Republican primary.

“It is no fun to sit there and watch somebody hold the ball, take the air out of the ball,” Rashad said. “The game is not taught that way. So why would we coach our kids that way, all for the betterment of a strategy of a game?”

He said adding a shot clock would change the strategy on both ends of the floor.

At her job, she works with mostly Black clients to address mental health challenges. 

The organization’s goal is to cater their services to the unique challenges the Black community faces. 

“Every counselor, every case manager, everybody who is involved in the agency is from the Black, African American community,” Lockhart said. “So they’re able to connect with people from that same community and understanding the cultural norms, and able to counsel people from what we know is a norm for our culture.”

Olivia Freeman is bringing the gear to get ready for the moment everyone’s waiting to see.

"I’m super excited — the last eclipse I saw I was in the 5th grade,” said Freeman.

Now a college student in engineering, she’s not just going to be watching the upcoming solar eclipse, but studying it.

“To be able to know what an eclipse means, how cool it actually is, and how to properly view it and view it in such a cool way with this awesome telescope is just amazing,” said Freeman.
