"I think I have the best of flower farming because I get to grow everything, which I really love, but then I get to share it with other people," she said.

The flower farm came to fruition as the result of Skidmore and her family selling their home in 2019.

"We had a house on land. We had horses and we grew a lot of vegetables. I did a lot of gardening and I missed it. I felt really lost by not having it," she said.

Skidmore has since rediscovered joy through her flower farm and sharing the experience with visitors, like Jeff and Julie Boothman.

Jeff knows there's a lot of effort to go into a successful flower farm.

"What's the right kind of soil, do you plant all the flowers from seed, how do you plan on the variety of flowers. And I appreciate all the work that she's put into this for all of us to enjoy."
