1. Auto thefts rise statewide, thieves targeting 2 brands

People across the country have fallen victim to car thefts, but Kia and Hyundai owners have suffered the most in the past couple of months, according to officials.

2. Ohio University reinstates indoor mask mandate

The university wrote the decision was based off of updated data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which shows Athens County has a high rate of COVID-19 spread. 

3. Blue Angels headline 2022 Dayton Air Show

The Blue Angels have landed in Dayton. The iconic U.S. Navy Flight demonstration squadron is headlining the 47th installation of the Dayton Air Show, a privilege that Slot Pilot Maj. Frank Zastoupil, USMC, doesn’t take for granted.

4. At least 16 confirmed dead in eastern Kentucky flooding, toll expected to rise

Search and rescue teams backed by the National Guard searched Friday for people missing in record floods that wiped out entire communities in some of the poorest places in America.
