1. Democrats offer amended map to Ohio Redistricting Commission

We are less than a day away from when the Ohio Redistricting Commission is expected to vote on the state's new legislative maps. And while it is been widely expected that the ones proposed by Republicans would soon take effect, Ohio Secretary of State Frank Larose is now leaving the door open for negotiations.

2. Amazon looking to hire thousands of employees across Ohio

Amazon announced plans Tuesday to expand its operations, which includes adding approximately 9,000 new jobs across Ohio. The tech giant aims to hire 125,000 delivery and warehouse workers nationwide.

3. Haunts, frights and treats: HalloWeekends returns to Cedar Point Friday

HalloWeekends is back with new additions. This year, the park is offering an exclusive VIP pass for those wanting to amp up their haunt game. There will also be a new attraction on Adventure Island, and hours will be extended during the daytime and nighttime. 

4. DOJ limits use of chokeholds, ‘no-knock’ entries

The Department of Justice on Tuesday announced a sweeping new policy which limits the use of “chokeholds” and “carotid restraints,” unless deadly force is authorized. The DOJ also limited the circumstances by which a "no-knock" entry can be used.
