OHIO — Wintry weather is making a return to Ohio and will primarily impact southern parts of the state beginning Tuesday morning.
Snow showers will affect areas near the Ohio River on and off throughout the day Tuesday and continue into Tuesday night before wrapping up early Wednesday morning.
While some light snow accumulations are possible along and north of I-70, this will be an event that mainly impacts the southernmost parts of the state, where between 2 and 4 inches is looking likely.
Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for parts of southern Ohio. Travel may become hazardous with slick roadways, especially from near Cincinnati east toward Marietta.
Near the I-70 corridor, only a half inch or so is expected. Further north, things will remain mostly dry.
