CLEVELAND — Four Cleveland Clinic hospitals recently received national recognition for their level of maternity care.

​Akron General, Fairview, Hillcrest and Martin Health rated as high performing in U.S. News and World Report’s list of 2022-23 Best Hospitals for Maternity Care. 

According to U.S. News, the annual Best Hospitals for Maternity Care is designed to help patients and providers “identify hospitals that provide high-quality maternity care for uncomplicated pregnancies.” 

The 650 hospitals offering maternity care in the U.S. were evaluated by U.S. News on data from a voluntary and self-reported survey.

The methodology used factors, including early elective delivery, C-section in lower-risk pregnancies, newborn complication, breast milk feeding and others.
