OHIO — Physicians diagnosed Gov. Mike DeWine with COVID-19, his office confirmed Friday.
His office wrote in a statement he's experiencing mild symptoms, including a runny nose, headache and sore throat. Earlier Friday, he received a monoclonal antibody treatment to help fight the infection.
DeWine is in quarantine, and First Lady Fran DeWine tested negative with no symptoms present.
The DeWines are fully vaccinated and received a booster shot.
DeWine has had two previous scares with COVID-19, one in August 2020 and another in November 2021. Both times, he tested negative and quarantined.
