WADSWORTH, Ohio — Halloween is just a few weeks away and the Livingston family from Wadsworth has been getting ready for this spooky holiday for weeks.

What You Need To Know

  • A northeast Ohio family has been prepping for Halloween for week
  • They decorate their house with more than 40 inflatables
  • The family has been doing this for the past three years

For the past three years, the family has been decking out their front yard with dozens of Halloween inflatables.

"There are over 40, and I say that just because we stopped counting at 40," Mark Livingston said. "I'm pretty sure we have bought five or six since then, and we are not done.”

Livingston explained that putting together their spooky holiday display takes a lot of time and effort.

"You know when you work a full-time job and this [the display] is a full-time job, as well," he said. "It takes at least three to four weeks to be complete.”

While the display features its fair share of creepy thrills, it also showcases many cute decorations as well.

Livingston said the work doesn't stop when Halloween is over. In fact, it is just the beginning of their busy season.

"We will take them [the decorations] down individually, we have to wash them because they get really dirty because of Ohio weather, dry them all out inside of the house so they don’t get wet again," he explained. "Once we are all done with that, which will take about a week, we start Christmas.”

You can see the house in person on East Bergey Street in Wadsworth.
