CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Music Festival team, alongside Janet Jackson’s, released statements Thursday saying the Jackson could no longer perform at the 2025 festival.
The festival is set for July 24-26 and features artists including Earth, Wind & Fire and Anthony Hamilton. Janet Jackson and the tribute to Frankie Beverly were scheduled to perform on July 26.
“We just learned that Janet Jackson is unable to perform at the 2025 Cincinnati Music Festival presented by P&G due to personal matters," the Cincinnati Music Festival said in a statement. "Festival organizers are working quickly to fill her spot on the lineup.”
Tickets for the festival went on sale last December for the three-days of shows at Paycor Stadium.
"To all my Cincinnati Music Festival fans.... I'm so sorry that I won't be able to be with you all in July," Jackson said in a statement. "Some personal matters have come up and I am unable to attend. I look forward to seeing you all soon!”
