WORCESTER, Mass. – Members of the UMass Memorial medical team were slimed Thursday as part of an event to mark Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day.
Staff sat in the slime seat, giving patients in the children’s medical center a chance to smile and laugh as slime was poured all over them.
"It was awesome,” said a slime-covered chief nursing officer Justin Precourt. “This is for such a great cause, it was really a lot of fun. You can taste the ingredients, it's awesome. There was a lot of intensity in that. She definitely went all in and hit it hard and got me covered, so it was great."
The children at the medical center made the green slime used at Thursday's event.
