WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Academy baseball team recently got back from their Florida trip where the Hilltoppers went 4-0 with two no-hitters.
The team was practicing on their campus Monday, preparing to starting their league schedule this week.
"We're looking to bring that energy, we just went 4-0 down in Florida, and we're looking to bring that energy back up here," said pitcher Max Marchetti. "I know our guys, we don't want to lose a game, so that's our goal this year."
"I think I can speak on behalf of everyone, we're so excited, going down to Florida everyone was so excited to get going," said catcher Cam Papetti. "But I think there's more of a competitiveness down here, being at our division and place here."
"It's always great to be back in Worcester," said head coach Mike Abraham. "I know our guys are chomping at the bit to get our season started and are ready for BB&N on Wednesday."
The Hilltoppers face Buckingham Brown & Nichols Wednesday at 4 p.m.
