WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's basketball blew open a close game against Lehigh in the second half to win 71-54 in the Patriot League semifinals Thursday night.
The Crusaders got a huge game from Simone Foreman who had 15 points, almost all of them when it was a close, back and forth game. Bronagh Power-Cassidy had a career high 27 points to lead Holy Cross.
The Crusaders are onto the Patriot League Championship game at Boston University at noon on Sunday, with the winner punching their ticket to the NCAA Tourney. It's the first time Holy Cross is in the Championship game since 2014.
