WORCESTER, Mass. - All Plumley Village residents are back in the building Monday, a little more than a week after a fire forced 120 families out of their homes.

An electrical fire on Thanksgiving morning displaced all residents of the apartment complex. The building's owner and manager The Community Builders said they installed an interim electrical system to safely restore power.

The interim system was deployed in phases to each floor of the 16-story building, allowing for a phased return of residents to their apartments over the weekend. TCB said a permanent repair will be performed with minimal disruption in the coming months, allowing residents to remain in their homes.
