WORCESTER, Mass. - Brian Abraham had a great baseball career at St. John's and then Holy Cross. "Abe" is a Worcester native and still spends his days at ballparks and on diamonds, only now as a member of the Boston Red Sox front office.
Abraham is the Director of Player Development, so it's his job to make sure guys progress through the minors and continue to improve so they can help the big club win a world series. He's a frequent visitor to Polar Park to evaluate the next generation of Boston Red Sox players.
Kevin Shea caught up with Abraham to talk about his job and the Worcester Red Sox.
