WORCESTER COUNTY, Mass. - A body found at the edge of a parking lot in Leominster in May is identified as 19-year-old Franklin Mane of Worcester, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
Mane’s body was discovered on May 12 in an overgrown area at the edge of the parking lot at 46 Industrial Road.
The Medical Examiner determined Mane died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
According to the District Attorney's office, Mane was well known in Worcester's Main South area and associated with street gangs. He was last seen alive in Worcester on March 6.
The investigation remains ongoing by the State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, as well as the Worcester and Leominster Police Departments.
