WORCESTER, Mass. - Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire on Friday morning in Worcester's Grafton Hill neighborhood.

The fire started at a duplex at 12 Joseph Street. According to the Worcester Fire Department, debris caught fire in backyard of the home and also damaged the siding of the house directly behind it.

Witnesses and the property owner told Spectrum News 1 that residents made it out of the home safe and everyone is accounted for.

By 11 a.m., there was a significant police presence at the scene and cruisers sealed the outlet of Benham Street at Grafton Street and on Enid Street, so vehicles couldn't make their way towards the scene of the fire on Joseph Street.

We will update this story with more information as it becomes available.
