WORCESTER, Mass. - A local entrepreneur spent Saturday giving back to people in need.
Justin Amevor, CEO and Founder of Doughboyz Food Services, walked around Elm Park, handing out meals to those who may be struggling with homelessness in Worcester.
Amevor hopes to use Doughboyz to promote racial and social equality for under-represented communities.
He's also hoping to make sure no one goes hungry as the pandemic continues.
Amevor said, "People just need food in general. I was able to work in a grocery store for a while and just see the demand in the food sector and agriculture. That's a big reason why we're out here and a big reason why we just want to help and support the cause."
Amevor says he expects his business to be up and running in early 2021.
