LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Thousands of fans will descend on Waterfront Park Saturday, April 20 for Thunder Over Louisville.

  • KFC Yum! Center is hosting a free "FUN-DER" party Saturday, April 20

  • The party starts at 4 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. when the Thunder Over Louisville fireworks begin

  • The FUN-DER party features games, music and food and drinks

  • It all happens at the Center's garage on the backside of the building

The KFC Yum! Center is offering fans a free way to have fun while downtown. The center is sponsoring the FUN-DER Garage Party from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The party will be at the KFC Yum! Center’s garage on the backside of the building, just off of River Road.

Fans won’t need a ticket. The Yum! Center says music and entertainment will be provided by WGZB’s Bella Rae and WGZB/WMMJ’s DJ Q. There will be yard games, including corn hole, set up. Food and drink concession stands will be up, including a beer garden for grown-ups featuring $5 beer and wine and $6 Corona and Modela. Pepsi Zero Sugar is sponsoring the event, so there will also be free samples of the soft drink to try.

Party-goers will also have the chance to win tickets to several of the upcoming events coming to the KFC Yum! Center, including WWE Smackdown, Greta Van Fleet, Lionel Richie, PBR and Cirque du Soleil.

The KFC Yum! Center is also hosting a viewing party from its Spirit Room, but that is sold out. Both events will give fans a chance to check out the Thunder air show and fireworks from a great vantage point.
