LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Showers and thunderstorms moved across the state for most of Wednesday, but they are expected to ramp up as we head into the evening hours.  The National Weather Service says the strong to severe storms may produce damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. The NWS also says flash flooding and hail can't be ruled out. The greatest threat is aiming at areas west of I-65. As it looks now, these storms will weaken as they progress east across Kentucky late overnight, but could still possess a threat.
