Thanks for taking the time to read this farewell letter, specifically written to all of you amazing Kentuckians that I hold so dear.

What You Need To Know

  • I will miss you all very much

  • My gratitude to you all for watching Your Morning News each day goes far beyond what I can express in words

  • A thousand "thank you's" go out to all of our amazing viewers

After being in this great state of Kentucky for nearly three years, the time has come to close this chapter of my life and start a new one.

In February, I married the love of my life! Who knew moving to the state known for Burbon and Bluegrass would eventually bring me my best friend and beloved life partner!

So, I'll be moving to the Magnolia State of Mississippi. As excited as I am for this next phase in my life, I'm sad to leave such an amazing place to live and work.

My colleagues at Spectrum News 1 are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Words can't express how much I'll miss them.

YOU, our amazing viewers, are beyond special to me! I get teary-eyed when I reflect on how much love you all have shown me during my time here. It has been an absolute honor helping you plan your day each morning.

As I sign off, here are some fun facts about my time here in Kentucky:

  • My favorite place to exercise is the Big Four Bridge in Louisville.
  • My favorite statewide tourist destination is the Noah's Ark replica called Ark Encounter in Williamstown.
  • My favorite tourist destination in Louisville is the Muhammad Ali Museum.
  • My favorite annual Kentucky event is the Kentucky Derby!

What I will miss most about Kentucky: ALL OF YOU!

Thanks for everything.
