LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two-time winner of the Kentucky Oaks, retired jockey Rosie Napravnik, has gone from riding racehorses to talking about them.

Churchill Downs announced Napravnik will be the featured analyst on the Derby Morning Works program presented by TwinSpires.com.

The one-hour show will be streamed live on Kentuckyderby.com/works beginning Monday, April from 7-8 a.m. (ET). The show will include the 15-minute exclusive training period for Kentucky Oaks and Derby contenders at 7:30-7:45 a.m. Fans can come to the Downs for free to watch the works or you can catch Napravnik and the show on the Kentucky Derby social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. 

Napravnik won't make her debut on the show until Friday, April 23. Churchill Downs says several other experts will take fans through the show including handicappers Joe Kristufek, Ed DeRosa, James Scully, Scott Shapiro and Brandon Stauble of TwinSpires.com. The Morning Works will also feature interviews with jockeys, trainers, owners and others in the industry. 

Napravnik began her racing career in 2005 and made history in 2012 when she became the first woman jockey to win the Kentucky Oaks, riding Believe You Can. A second Oaks victory came in 2014 aboard Untapable. Months later, after winning the Breeders' Cup Distaff at Santa Anita, Napravnik announced her retirement because she and her husband, trainer Joe Sharp were expecting their first child.
