LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of Kentucky basketball team will resume its schedule this week but not Tuesday as originally planned.

Late Monday, the Southeastern Conference at UK announced the team's game at Missouri would be rescheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Friday, Jan. 29, UK paused its program because of COVID-19 and contact tracing quarantines.  This resulted in the cancelation of the SEC/BIG 12 Challenge game with No. 5 Texas.  The school originally announced it would be a 48-hour stoppage.

Kentucky is 13-1 all-time vs. Missouri and the Cats have won three straight in the series. UK last played Mizzou in 2019.

If all goes well, the Cats will come home to play Tennessee on Saturday, Feb. 6 and Arkansas on Feb. 9.
