LOUISVILLE, Ky. — For the first time in two decades, there will be a new voice announcing all things related to the University of Louisville Cardinals.

The university announced Michael Lattin as the new voice of the Cardinals. Lattin replaces Sean Moth, who resigned from the position in August.

Lattin is a television producer who has done voice-over work with a company he owns, BMB Production. Lattin most recently has produced "Inside the Cards" coaches shows for WAVE-TV. He has also produced coverage of Thunder Over Louisville, the Kentucky Derby, and the Breeders' Cup.

Lattin isn't a stranger to Cardinal Stadium. From 1998-2000, he was the voice of the Cardinal Marching Band for pregame and halftime shows.

Lattin makes his debut Saturday, September 12 when UofL hosts the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at 8:05 p.m.
